Thailand’s Representative to ACWC, supported the initiative from the perspective of ASEAN’s human rights and human development agenda. She underscored that skills development systems which are fragmented or narrowly focused risk deepening inequalities and excluding women, children, and youth from meaningful participation in future economies. ACWC contributes regional cooperation to promote case studies, visibility, and inclusiveness across the initiative’s programmes, with a particular focus on gender mainstreaming, the rights of women and children, and South–South and triangular cooperation in skills development and lifelong learning.
