KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Education leaders, innovators, and policy practitioners from across the region will gather on 16 May 2026 for the Premier Dialogue: Education Reimagined in the Age of A.I. & Global Disruption, hosted under the NEXT (Narratives, Experience & Exchange for Tomorrow) platform.
The event is jointly hosted by Fulbright Malaysia, The Harvard Club of Malaysia, Xsolla Curine Academy, and the Fulbright Alumni Association of Malaysia at Xsolla Curine Academy, KL Eco City.
Among the featured speakers is Associate Professor Dr. Jomphong Mongkhonvanit, Vice President and Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Siam University, Thailand. Dr. Jomphong is internationally recognized for his work in educational transformation, workforce development, digital and green skills, and lifelong learning. He currently serves as a Visiting Researcher at the UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning (UNESCO-IIEP) in 2025.
Dr. Jomphong will contribute perspectives on how higher education and technical and vocational education systems must evolve to respond to rapid technological change, demographic transitions, and the growing importance of AI-enabled learning ecosystems. His participation reflects growing regional cooperation on future skills, innovation, and inclusive education reform.
The programme will feature a keynote lecture by Professor Fernando Reimers of Harvard University, Ford Foundation Professor of the Practice of International Education and Director of the Global Education Innovation Initiative at Harvard University. The dialogue will also bring together experts from education, humanitarian, and innovation sectors for a public forum focused on translating insight into action.
Organizers noted that the event aims to create a platform for meaningful regional exchange on the future of education, leadership, employability, and human capability development in an increasingly uncertain and technology-driven world.
The programme will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM on Saturday, 16 May 2026. Afternoon tea and certificates will be provided for participants.
