Siam University convened a multi-stakeholder consultation on the Skills for Sustainable Futures Initiative, bringing together key partners including UNESCO Bangkok, Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children, UNESCO MOST Programme Thailand, Save the Children, and the Thailand National Commission for UNESCO, alongside representatives from industry.
The consultation served as a platform to strengthen collaboration and align perspectives on advancing integrated skills development, particularly across digital, green, foundational, and transversal competencies. The outcomes will inform the design and implementation of the initiative, reinforcing its policy relevance, partnership ecosystem, and scalability across Thailand and the wider ASEAN region and beyond.
